Partington Cove Trail is not marked and is actually a dirt road.
Partington is located five
miles south of the Nepanthe store and 1.8 miles north of Julia Pfeiffer State Park.
Partington Cove on a foggy day.
The trail begins on the Ocean side of Hwy #1. There is a green fence as the road curves up.
There are actually two coves here. Partington Cove and the south cove that we have named
Bridge Cove, because you have to cross a bridge to get to it.
Bridge to Bridge Cove.
A bit past the bridge, is a
tunnel thru the mountain. The tunnel leads to a trail and Bridge Cove.
Tunnel to Bridge Cove.
The trail past the tunnel ends in a few hundred yards near the Ocean. There is a bench
here for contemplating Bridge Cove and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

A trail above Partington Cove leads up the canyon a short distance to the lively
Partington Creek. There is an outhouse located on this trail.
