7AM - Back at Pepe's!
Incredible as it may be to you, we had another accident! It's true! On the way to yesterday's Nite Camp in the Pueblo of Jalcocotán, we went down a narrow street where a pickup truck was parked. The owner of the pickup guided MsTioga passed. Unfortunately, the same repainted fender as before touched the bumper of the pickup.
We returned to Pepe's Body Shop this morning to have this fender repainted again!
There are some members of the TiogaRV Team who have commented that perhaps Jorge is over-the-hill. And, maybe Jorge should retire from driving. Maybe Jorge's eyes are bad. Or maybe Jorge's judgment is faulty.
Jorge believes that all of these things are somewhat true. However, he is going to continue driving anyway!
Second time for painting fender!
2PM - Back on the beach at Matanchen.
MsTioga and The Team have returned to La Playa de Matanchen. The Sun is bright and the temperature is 82°F. A soft breeze keeps us cool.
The beach is a little busy, but not too much. The water is very nice!
5PM - New fabricated fridge vent!
You may recall that last week Mr. Dometic's plastic roof vent got hit by a tree limb on the road to Tepic. An RV vent like this is almost impossible to buy in Mexico. So, we made a shallow box about the size of the destroyed vent. This box was fiberglassed and painted at Pepe's Body Shop.
This afternoon we installed the new fabricated fridge vent!
